I am a BE graduate in Mechanical Engineering from Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan. I have done my M. Tech. from IIT - Madras in the year 2010 from Applied Mechanics department with Fluid Mechanics as my M. Tech. specialization and PhD in Thermal Engineering from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Madras. My thesis title is "Interaction of Stationary Viscous Vortices and Chaotic Advection". I had started my career by teaching software like Auto CAD and Pro/E in CADD Centre, Mangalore. I joined as a lecturer in Department of Mechanical Engineering, Canara Engineering College. After securing an All India Rank of 388 in GATE 2008, I joined IIT Madras. After my MTech, I rejoined Canara Engineering College as a faculty and served there for three years. I established a GATE coaching Institute, Academy in Pursuit of Engineering eXcellence (APEX) in the year 2017. Training at APEX has helped many students to secure post graduation seats in IITs and NITs. It has also helped my students to secure jobs in reputed companies like Adani Power, Mico Bosch, Tata motors and many more.
