Dr Bhawani Singh Rathore

The expert is presently associated with JSW Energy as the DGM Projects since March 2024. He is spearheading the electrical works at the Maharashtra wind farm sites and is involved in supervising the project’s power evacuation infrastructure and ensuring timely execution. JSW Energy's renewable energy portfolio includes significant solar and wind energy installations.

Previously, the expert was allied with Inox Wind from 2014 to 2018, serving as Site In charge for an 800 MW wind farm. He managed the site’s civil foundation, power evacuation infrastructure, and coordinated permitting and approvals. After his tenure at Inox Wind, he was associated with Siemens Gamesa as Pan India Power Evacuation Execution Head from 2019 to 2021, where he executed and commissioned multiple renewable energy projects across various states.

From 2011 to 2014, the expert was associated with Godawari Green Energy, where he was responsible for the execution of a 50 MWe CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) project. This role involved overseeing the project’s implementation, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards, and contributing to the advancement of solar thermal technology in India.

The expert also served as an independent consultant for Kriti Productions from 2022 to 2024, providing specialized consultancy in renewable energy. Prior to this, he worked at Shree Cement in 2010, where he contributed to key projects in the renewable energy space. He was also involved with RSWM Ltd. from 2002 to 2010, where he managed captive thermal projects, gaining substantial experience in energy project management.

In addition to his extensive project management experience, the expert has delivered multiple consultancy assignments in the renewable energy space, focusing on solar, wind, and energy storage systems. He is actively involved in delivering webinars and training sessions related to renewable energy, sharing his expertise with industry professionals and aspiring engineers. The expert is the founder of India's first WhatsApp community dedicated to renewable energy, covering topics such as solar, wind, CSP, energy storage systems (ESS), green hydrogen (GH2), and electric vehicles (EV).

As a responsible and socially committed individual, the expert volunteers for the NGO Rajasthan Sadak Suraksha Society, promoting road safety initiatives. He has also directed inspirational films for Kriti Productions, aiming to motivate and educate the public. Additionally, he supports the RDTC Singawal for solar training under the NSDC, contributing to skill development in the renewable energy sector.

With over 23 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, the expert has made significant contributions to both national and international projects, earning multiple awards for his outstanding performance and R&D excellence.
