This course is divided into 2 modules and each module has its own importance. In this module, we will cover topics
1. Euler-Bernoulli and Timoshenko Beam theories.
2. Failure theories of Isotropic and some non-isotropic materials.
3. Theory of Plates and Shells.
Do enroll other module to learn more on fundamentals of solid mechanics that are critical for a static equipment engineer.
This course will cover basic and advanced topics from Solid Mechanics required to provide a robust understanding of the background theory behind technical requirements of Piping and Pressure Vessel codes and standards.
